Two trends I am loving for spring are wooden accessories and two piece sets. I have always loved anything with a natural or somewhat beachy vibe and I’m usually very minimalist when it comes to accessories. Anything with shells, turquoise, or wood have always caught my eye so when I saw these unique wooden watches from JORD I instantly fell in love. They have many different styles to choose from but my favorite is the Fieldcrest Koa & Burl, made with natural wood from Hawaii. Another accessory that I am loving that I have been seeing EVERYWHERE is the bamboo clutch. Just about every fashion blogger I know has one (I linked to mine above). They are perfect for the beach because the sand just falls right out and if you get one of the larger sized ones you can fit all of your beach essentials. I also love that you can dress it up or down. It would go great with some denim shorts and a tank or with a cute spring or summer dress.
I must admit I was on the fence about the two piece sets at first. The one I’m wearing in the pictures is unfortunately sold out but I linked to a few others that I love and some very similar ones. I bought this one last summer for our trip to Hawaii and ended up not wearing it until now. Like I said…I wasn’t sure I was going to embrace this two piece trend but now I’m obsessed. I just bought a few more. They make getting dressed so easy…matching top and bottom, throw on some wedges or cute slides, accessorize with your wood watch and a dainty necklace, grab your bamboo clutch and go! I also love that you can dress them up or down and you can always separate the pieces (maybe pair the top with jeans or a cute skirt or wear the shorts with a plain tank for a completely different look). They are great for taking on a trip because you can come up with a few different looks by just mixing and matching those two pieces with some basics.
