WEEKEND GETAWAY AT FOUR SEASONS ORLANDO

Four Seasons Orlando Walt Disney World
Four Seasons Orlando Walt Disney World

We got to the Four Seasons just before sunset. Our plan was to leave the house around noon and get there WAY earlier but we were halfway there and Jonathan had a work emergency for one of his listings (he’s a real estate agent if you’re new here) and we had to turn around so he could fix the problem so that the buyer could feel confident about their closing. It’s hard sometimes since we both have jobs that are essentially 24/7. His phone is always ringing, we both have endless emails, and I always feel like I have to be present on social media so it just gets a little overwhelming sometimes when we can’t just step away and take some time off. Anyway… I had this little getaway planned for a while because I knew the boys would love the pools, waterslides, and lazy river here. Plus it’s the Four Seasons which never disappoints!

Our room was gorgeous and you could see Epcot from our balcony which was super cool. We weren’t going to Disney this trip since there is so much we wanted to do at the Four Seasons but this would be the perfect place to stay if you are planning a Disney trip since its so close to the parks and there is so much to do at the resort too if you need a day off. We had the best dinner at The Lobby Bar and couldn’t wait to hit the pool the next day.

We grabbed coffee and a quick breakfast from Lickety Split (they also have the cutest cupcakes, cookies, and gelato) and spent all day at the pool, waterslides, splash pad, and lazy river. As soon as we woke up I realized I forgot Nick’s allergy medicine and his allergies were acting up all week so we called down to the front desk and they brought some up for us right away so he was able to enjoy the day. Nothing but 5 star service here!

The poolside food was soooo good! We loved everything we got and the drinks too! The boys kept saying “Can we eat by the pool again?” And I loved that they had so many activities for the kids and tons of games. We played foosball, ping pong, connect four, pool….and the boys discovered they had a fun arcade too.

I lost track of how many times we went around the lazy river and on the slides and they have the coolest splash pad ever! On our last day, we were going to set up near the splash pad but then we saw this little spot with these awesome chairs and there was a basketball hoop by the pool so we were sold. I really felt like we were in Tulum for the day not Orlando. There was a pool table and the arcade nearby too so it was the perfect spot since we could hang out by the pool and the boys could go play pool or go to the arcade right there too. The Four Seasons Orlando really has a way of giving you all the Disney vibes but also making you feel like you’re in some far away exotic tropical place at the same time. I love when resorts have such beautiful grounds, tons to do, and amazing food so you don’t even have to leave (and trust me…. we didn’t want to leave). I can’t wait to go back again soon!
